Blissen is a rock band from Lancaster, New York, formed in 2023. Originally a two-man project, the band quickly grew into a four-piece with bassist Tim Gierlinger, drummer Mike Schnorr, rhythm guitarist Matt Kuberski, and lead guitarist/vocalist Josh Ruszkowski.

Their debut EP, The Day the Sun Left (2024), introduced their blend of heavy instrumentals and introspective lyrics.

The band’s latest singles, “Clouded” and “Estranged,” showcase a deeper side of their evolving sound. “Clouded” captures the struggle with mental health, while “Estranged” explores the emotional weight of lost connections. Both tracks offer a glimpse of what’s to come in their highly anticipated upcoming album, which promises to further push the boundaries of their genre-defying style.
